Lagarto Line

Lagarto is Spanish for lizard. Created in the light of authentic lizard, Lagarto has many hours of craftsmanship and special finishing techniques. Premium select cowhides are tanned in a special combination of part chrome/Veg. This process allows the leather to accept the embossing with more depth and gives the texture of a lizard. The firm feel does break and wear naturally over time. Lagarto only comes in half hides in order to accommodate the concave/convex embossing molds. Since we are able to use only premium select raw material these half hides are very clean and beautiful to ensure better yield. 20 - 25 feet is the average size and usually comes measured in meters. This is a simple conversion. (Multiply by 10.765) Lagarto will wear naturally over time. After embossing, Lagarto receives a hand wiped topcoat, which adds durability along with a nice luster. Color variation should be expected from lot to lot. Lagarto will accent any room and can be used on almost any furniture.
