Leonardo Line

Leonardo is a top-grain pure aniline leather. Leonardo hides are dyed a light color and then many layers of hand wiped aniline stains are applied to create a leather that has old world appeal. The light base gives the leather the depth needed to create this vintage look. Leonardo hides are hand wiped in the USA using old world techniques. Color variations should be expected from the swatch to order. No two hides will be exactly the same due to the fact the leather is created entirely by hand. A clear waxy feel coat is added for protection. Healed scars, scratches, neck and belly wrinkles will be apparent throughout the leather furniture. Leonardo hides average 50 feet and will fade with prolonged exposure to sunlight. Leonardo is a great leather for heavily used areas.
