Sarkara Line

Sarkara is produced entirely by hand using old artisan techniques. Depth and character is achieved by the layering of many particular-finishing steps. Premium selection European cowhides are tanned in a special combination of part chrome /veg. This process allows the leather to accept the embossing with more depth and give the texture of Horn back gator. The firm feel does break and wear naturally over time. Sarkara comes in half hides in order to accommodate the concave/convex embossing molds. Since Sarkara comes in half hide form these hides are very clean and ensure great yield. Sarkara will need to be cut much like a fabric due to the pattern. Hides average 20-25 square feet and come in meters. Due to the lengthy coloring process Sarkara receives, color variation should be expected and appreciated. Articles that are hand wiped age nicely with use. Sarkara will accent any room and can be used on almost any furniture style.
