Stratford Line

Made in the light of the age-old library leathers. A nice glossy sheen and a pristine finish make Stratford a perfect leather for contract use as well as residential furniture. A premium select European raw material is selected for Stratford to keep the surface of the leather as perfect as possible. Then a base color is applied in two applications. The hides are covered with an antique stain, Which is hand wiped off of the leather revealing the base color. The final process is the topcoat. This is a water-based coat that is added with a mirror like sheen. The hand wiping process gives the leather a warm masculine feel and adds depth to the surface of the leather. Stratford hides are hand wiped in our NC factory by leather artisans. Stratford hides will exhibit natural characteristics such as healed scars, scratches, neck and belly wrinkles, which tend to blend into the antique effect of this leather. Hides average 50 square feet.
