Metallic Ostrich 8400

This distinctive ostrich pattern has a dramatic metallic color that adds a bit of pizzazz to any application. This full top-grain leather is tanned using a specific tanning process that is formulated to ensure the leather retains the decorative embossing deep into the surface of the leather. Embossed using a mold instead of a standard embossing plate, which allows the embossing to have a three dimensional look. The ostrich design is a traditional overall non-directional pattern, yet in the finishing process some embossing lines may become apparent and should not be treated as a defect. Layered with water-based finishes and glazes in order to give the leather its rich deep color. Color will vary due to all color applications being done by hand. A clear water based top coat is applied for protection. Like most pure aniline leathers prolonged exposure to light will cause them to fade.
